A correction should identify the exact work and claim, explain what is wrong, and point to the strongest available source. Factual corrections and disagreements with editorial judgment are reviewed differently.

Start with the exact page
Use the “Suggest a correction” link on an individual work page and note the page title, the specific sentence or fact at issue, the proposed correction, and a first-party source when one exists.
Useful reports distinguish an identity or factual error from a difference of editorial opinion. Both can be reviewed, but only the former has a single verifiable answer.
Recheck before changing
Listening Record rechecks the claim against its visible sources and any stronger evidence supplied. A material disputed claim may be withdrawn from the approved projection while the evidence is unresolved.
A corrected fact receives a new fact-review date. A changed recommendation receives a new editorial-review date. The public page and its structured data are updated together.
Keep the history
Corrections do not erase the publication trail. Stable work identity and slug aliases are retained, while the current approved projection reflects the reviewed correction.
Contact channel status
A monitored general-public correction address is not yet configured. Listening Record will publish a verified channel on this page rather than display an unmonitored or placeholder mailbox.
The publication process requires factual-verification requests to creators or publishers to point back to this policy. A lack of response is never treated as confirmation of a claim.
