Between them, 25 murders, 5 attempted murders, and an unknown number of sexual assaults occurred, putting an entire city in a state of terror. Dr. Michelle Ward – who grew up in LA – speaks candidly with detectives, experts, friends, family and witnesses involved in each case to unravel exactly what happened and explore the shocking details to try and find out why such monsters came to be.
